About The Project

Doesn't it seem like the world came to a quick halt? Yet, I am very, very aware that I am here – in North Haven – with my family and neighbors, friends and others (though virtually or through significant social distancing!) during this unprecedented time.

As a photographer, I capture images of families in times of joy: babies on the way, newborns, siblings, grandparents and more. Those moments of joy are still happening in homes right now. I know it. But I can’t be there to capture them.  Like everyone in North Haven, I'm doing my part to stay at home.

It is more important now than ever before to support our community, especially those in need.  Introducing the Front Porch Project: North Haven Edition Starting this Saturday, April 4th, I will be taking pictures of the residents of North Haven from their 'front step' with 100% of all proceeds supporting North Haven Community Services, specifically those affected by the impact of COVID-19.  For a suggested donation of $15 (any amount will be greatly appreciated), you will receive an edited digital copy of your family portrait with the good faith assurance you will donate.  Donations should be sent to me via Venmo or Paypal

In addition to sending you a digital picture, I will be posting these images on Facebook and Instagram using the hashtag #nhfrontporchproject. Please share these posts and let’s spread the word!  It's not only a great way to support your local community, but it can bring us together as a community in a time when we might feel isolated.

Simply click on the button below to schedule your Front Porch session today!

NOTE: I will be taking images outside ONLY and from at least 10 feet away. Our session will be brief, likely just 5 minutes. This is not a typical get-dressed-up-and-pose-for-the-photographer session unless that's how you want to pose.  Feel free to stand outside in your pajamas and slippers, or let your kids pick out some mismatched clothes and with their favorite hat.  Maybe you'll want to wear your bike gear because you’re headed off to ride a trail in the nice weather? Whatever it is, I love it!  Just be you, have some fun, and most importantly, SMILE!

I *do* smile and laugh with you, however, and don’t we all need a little bit of that right now?

Please adhere to the Town of North Haven emergency/social distancing guidelines
